Early days Course
There are two places left on this course, which starts on Tuesday 24th February.

If you feel like you could do with some adult company, and a chat about topics relevant to you with other local new mums, there is a new NCT Early Days course starting on Feb 24th in Rushden. It doesn't matter where in our area you live - I've had mums on the Early Days courses from Rushden, Wellingborough, Kettering, Market Harborough, Desborough, and lots of towns and villages in between. How you have chosen to feed your baby is also not important, and you do not need to be a member of the NCT to access any of the services and courses we offer.
NCT Early Days Postnatal courses are for mums with babies up to 6 months of age. The same mums (and babies!) attend for about 2 hours every week for 6 consecutive weeks, and unlike most things with a new baby, the courses are mother focused and are there to provide a forum for you to talk about how you are finding early parenthood. The groups are led by an NCT trained Postnatal Leader, and you will have a chance to discuss various topics such as 'Changing Relationships', 'Expectations versus Realities of Parenthood'', 'Sleeping and Crying', and 'Returning to work - or not?'. The topics we discuss will be chosen by the group in the first week, so each course is tailored to the mums attending.
